Out this week: The Domain #1 (Image Comics, $3.99):
Chip Zdarsky and Rachael Stott present the in-universe comic from Zdarsky’s other creator-owned title, Public Domain. While that title is about a creator and his family getting the rights back to a popular comics character he created, this spin-off miniseries details what their reboot of that series looks like.
Chip Zdarsky’s Public Domain will return at Image Comics in July with not only a new story arc, but also with a spinoff series called The Domain. While Public Domain is about a creator and his family getting the rights back to a popular comics character he created, The Domain, the spinoff is a five-issue series that details what the in-universe reboot of that series looks like once they do. It features artwork by Rachael Stott and Eren Angiolini.
Public Domain #6 arrives in stores this week.
Out this week: Batman #150 (DC, $5.99): Chip Zdarsky continues his Batman run a story that ties into Absolute Power, as well as one about a two-bit crook who discovers Batman’s secret identity. Out this week: Absolute Power: Ground Zero #1 (DC, $4.99):
DC’s big crossover event kicks off this week with this “zero” issue — ground zero, that is. Featuring a creative team that includes Mark Waid, Joshua Williamson, Nicole Maines, Chip Zdarsky, Gleb Melnikov, Skylar Patridge, V Ken Marion and more, this issue will bring together elements from Batman, Superman: House of Brainiac and Suicide Squad: Dream Team as Amanda Waller begins her plan to take down the world’s superheroes.
