Out this week: The Domain #1 (Image Comics, $3.99): 

Chip Zdarsky and Rachael Stott present the in-universe comic from Zdarsky’s other creator-owned title, Public Domain. While that title is about a creator and his family getting the rights back to a popular comics character he created, this spin-off miniseries details what their reboot of that series looks like.

Chip Zdarsky’s Public Domain will return at Image Comics in July with not only a new story arc, but also with a spinoff series called The Domain. While Public Domain is about a creator and his family getting the rights back to a popular comics character he created, The Domain, the spinoff is a five-issue series that details what the in-universe reboot of that series looks like once they do. It features artwork by Rachael Stott and Eren Angiolini.

Out this week: Batman #150 (DC, $5.99): Chip Zdarsky continues his Batman run a story that ties into Absolute Power, as well as one about a two-bit crook who discovers Batman’s secret identity. Zdarsky is joined by series regulars Jorge Jimenez and Mike Hawthorne, as well as guest artist Denys Cowan for this milestone issue.

DC’s big crossover event kicks off this week with this “zero” issue — ground zero, that is.
