Poor Things I need you to Distract Kang

Chloe Carmichael is the most interesting character in Fairly Oddparents because the way Timmy misunderstands Chloe as perfect leading to him hating her played out in real life with the fans too. It's kind of tragically funny the way the thing making her miserable and alone transcended fiction.

Timmy and the audience are presented with someone who is the opposite of him and seems happy, and then learns that despite being his polar opposite, she's actually just as unhappy as he is. It's a nice story of not judging a book by its cover and being receptive to alternate experiences. Timmy becomes empathetic to Chloe after learning this, but the audience says no, fuck you and fuck off. Interesting, I think, but also a bit tragic.

Remember that the first half of FOP: A New Wish is finally on Netflix today and to watch it if you can, and that ratings (especially first day initial ratings) can help determine if it gets more seasons.

I think "Tootie deserves a fairy" discourse is boring. "What kind of person would be in her situation and still not need one" is a lot more interesting.

This is where I had to stop due to losing internet. I may go on to do the last few days because there's some pretty good prompts but for now, that's all folks.

Day 25 | Day 26 | Day 27 TBD?

So I'm a Chloe Carmichael defender (and my opinion is correct) but I do think she feels more like Timmy's godsister rather than Cosmo and Wanda's godchild, if that makes sense. It's just how the character dynamics ended up, and it's not necessarily bad, but it's a choice.

On the flip side, ANW focuses primarily on the godparent/godchild dynamic and the potential of Peri as Hazel's older brother in ANW is completely absent. I do think it's extremely easy for them to take Peri and Hazel, have Peri think about the time he had an older sister in Chloe and link that to having a younger sister now in Hazel. It also plays a second role of backfilling a relationship between Chloe and Peri that didn't get a chance to exist in the OG.

Day 25 is a cheat, it's a part of a larger drawing which I will post in its own time.
