same, i had just pulled into my driveway after work when my bestie texted that he had passed, and i thought she was joking even tho she's not one to joke about things like that. i had to look on twitter myself to believe it was real.
one direction was the first group i ever stanned too, before i even knew what stanning was. from the age of eleven to the age of seventeen they were the main thing i cared about. the first x reader fic i ever read was a one direction fic, and until until i got into svt, i never thought i would be as obsessed with a group as i was with one direction.
liam had his faults, and he hurt the people around him, but he was a huge part of my formative years and i can't believe he's gone.

I'm going to be putting together my dog pen I ordered for my dog Echidna (she is 12 months old now), it was supposed to arrive on Oct 21-23 but it arrived Monday. I also sent in a request for 100 dollars to be taken out of my check each time I get paid, so I don't spend it all in one place and to save up.

omg what kind of dog is precious Echidna? and that's so smart! i am nawt a good saver so def do what you can to put money away so you have a good nest egg 💖
and it's been interesting!! we transition into the new company on 11/1 so we're working to finalize a lot of audits under our name and it's been a bit crazy! i got a pay raise but the new company isn't paying for parking and my health insurance is more expensive so the money will just be going to those things :-//
i ammm going to nyc next week to visit one of my besties and attend the svt concert so that's v exciting and smth i'm looking forward to a lot!!

It's taking a week, almost two to finish the Boyfriend Han Headconnon, because I've been busy and haven't really had motivation to write but I feel like I'll be proud of the work. Normally I feel like I have to rush to get my works done, but I'm slowly getting in the mindset that I don't have to rush to finish my works. When I started writing up here and everything, I thought that if I don't get my works out fast enough that people won't want to read my work anymore or they will forget about my works.

hellooo it's been busy but it's almost over thank goodness! and that's a good mindset to have! i also used to feel like i needed to pump out works before people lost interest, and it led to me burning out! now i know it's much better to take your time and release something you're proud of and happy with, and that people the people who care about your work will stick around no matter how long it takes you to post
and it's okay! i'm almost always down to get deep hehe

thank you! it's been rainy all day but it's supposed to get bad in the next few hours and i'm honestly just hoping the damage stays limited to property and doesn't result in any loss of life. we might see some flash flooding and the roads will be dangerous, so i hope people hunker down and stay safe.

ahhhh yes i could def see that! sometimes people don't want to commit to something with multiple parts or they don't have time for something longer so they look for oneshots or imagines instead! you also get to write different idols which will draw in different people

and yes, so i would say def make sure you're tagging your fic accordingly! you want it to reach the right audiences so you can get as much interest as possible. and make sure to reply to every bit of feedback you get! if you can, search for a network to join too! it helps to know other writers have your back and it's really nice to have an established community that you can go to for writing help and ideas and other stuff!
it takes some time to grow a blog so don't get discouraged if you don't have a lot of followers or get a lot of interaction, especially if you're writing something a bit more niche. you'll improve and learn things along the way, i know i'm still working to get better and grow my blog even though i've been at this for two and a half years now!
