I'd adore someone who knows the casts better than me to imagine a campaign swap. Like, Vox Machina dealing with the war and Somnoven. Mighty Nein dealing with the Ruby Vanguard. Bells Hells fighting the Chroma Conclave and Vecna.

The Bell's Hells might function better against a present threat against Emon; it's less morally divisive. Conversely, the shorter timeline would probably fuck up the Mighty Nein, though they do have more religious characters; there'd be less conflict there at least.

i've connected the two dots. i've put the pieces together.

my favorite bells hells vs mighty nein dichotomy is first impressions and trust.

the nein formed their group as skeptics. most of them didn’t trust each other, outside of their smaller original groups. this lack of trust led to them assuming the worst about each other, until they learned their worst; by the end, they’d forged an iron tight bond.

on the other hand, bells hells instantly clicked. they trusted each other right off the bat, with character bonding therapy sessions within the first 5 episodes. but now that tensions are rising and they’re finding things they disagree about, it’s almost as if they feel deceived by each other’s first impressions.

i just think that difference is so interesting
