Americans, including Americans of color, in the 21st century have far more privilege than the average person in the global south and that is an important fact to admit. This even includes Black Americans, who are still American. One thing I was ruminating on, the other day that as a Black American, I have an American passport, and that gives me an immense amount of privilege over anyone in the global south. And I have that because I am American. Me being black does not strip away the privilege I am granted being an American, and I do not ever have the right to speak over people in the global south.

That said, reading tags like yours, it would be so much easier if you admitted that you, as a white slavic person, just hate Black American people. The fact that the only reason you shared this post, was because it got BLACK people upset, is extremely telling. You are still white, you still have white privilege and you need to look at how your own communities treat black people. Racism coming White Russians, Ukrainians, etc., in general, is not surprising. When Russia was invading Ukraine, white Ukrainians kicked black people off of trains and left them to the mercy of the russians who killed them, ukraine attempted to force black immigrants to fight and die on the front lines. when ukranians were offered sancurary in other countires, they complained having to be surrounded by Black people.

By all means, share OPs post to point out that many US Americans speak over people in the global south and attempt to, equate our present day suffering to theirs, which is wrong.

But as a white slavic person, you are not immune to white privilege, and you are not immune to your own anti blackness. You odo not get to -tee hee- at being anti black and hateful toward Black Americans just because they are American, when anti black racism is deeply integrated in your community, your soceity and your mindset.
