Agreed. I think 3x02 (I Am Unicorn) is a pivot ep for Kurt, and an important one to re-watch - especially now when looking at his overall character arc.
Perhaps the segment of fandom forgot since it's been a while (or they have a collective selective memory). It feels like ages ago.
