i see people post goodbye things like this a lot, and i’m just wondering - who is your audience for this post? aren’t the people you are speaking to already gone? the rest of us loooooove youuuuuuu! <3
Thank you, Jenn! <3
I don't post goodbye posts very often, because people can come and go as they please, and do. :) I don't mind a bit.
My audience for this particular post was a general response to the "goodbye/parting gift" messages left in my ask. ;)
Lea Michele (Watch What Happens Live)
I have to admit that this last shot of Rachel looking directly into the camera left me a bit stunned. What a shot to end the season.
It made me wonder if we're being set for some surprise reveal at series end - like we've been watching The Untitled Rachel Berry Project for the past six years (similar to the Newhart series finale - anyone from the Tumblr Geriatric Ward remember that?).
This is probably the most crackiest spec I've ever had - and it's not really spec, it's my imagination run amok. lol
That said, I'm still thrown by that last shot.
Good grief, will E! please drop the Kurt to Russia shenanigans? That rumor/ joke has taken on a life of its own, and has long since been debunked. Besides, given what's really happening in Russia....nothing to joke about.
Just had a quick thought about June; not really spec but just me thinking aloud. When I first heard about her, I initially thought of the character of Mlio Roberts played by the late Nina Foch in An American in Paris.
Mlio is a wealthy heiress/ American socialite living in Paris who "discovers" WWII American expatriate turned artist, Jerry Mulligan (Gene Kelly) when she comes across his paintings in the street one day.
She offers to sponsor an art show of his work, but also takes a personal interest in him (aka paid escort / arm candy).
Anyways, just some random thoughts of mine rattling around. Not speccing that Glee will go that route, but that's who I thought of initially when I heard about June.
Conflict, drama, and ups and downs = driving the narrative.
Bring on all the plotlines. I'm ready.
I had a feeling this would happen - it's like going from 0 to 100 mph in a blink. This is what happens when the cast and crew are so far ahead in filming, while we still have upcoming episodes to watch.
There's so much happening at once that we don't know where to look - much like being handed Golden Tickets to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
Welcome to the frenzy, my friends! It's going to be like this until May.
It's up to each of us individually to tailor our own fandom experiences. Do what's best for you.
Meanwhile, try to enjoy the ride.
Live in the moment that is Glee, because it will be May 2015 before we know it.
