Before you give up on Facebook entirely, I'd suggest spending a few weeks using the "unfollow" "hide post" and "block" options and see if that improves your experience. There's a lot of good to be had there, if you get their algorithm to work for you.
*nods* Thank you for the suggestion, Nadia. I’ve used the Facebook management options before but not a consistent basis. I’ll try to be more systematic about using the options for a few weeks and see how that goes. Hopefully I can get the algorithm to work. Thanks again!

nadiacreek Yes me too! It’s unfortunate that they didn’t have anyone. I’m surprised because there was a woman in yellow dress (the store owner perhaps?) who went down the front of the line and told folks to have their camera apps on their phones open and ready and that she would take their photos once they got to the signing table. She’s the one who took our photos. She must have stopped doing so along the way, which is too bad because you werent that far behind us in line. :( Darn. I hope a photo turns up. At least you have some audio recorded. Heck, if we could we would’ve stayed to take your photos with Chris, but there was a guy who encouraged us to get a move on (which is understandable because they wanted to keep the line moving). Great to see you too!
nadiacreek Wish we could have hung out more yesterday too. Time went by in a blink of eye. Hopefully there will more time at a future meetup. Also had hoped to get more photos with you and Charlie but wasn’t sure when they were going to open the auditorium doors.
So glad that Charlie was able to meet Chris and give him his TLOS drawing. Your son is adorable!
heyjealousy09 , theshriek, and I are on our way home from the TLOS4 book signing in Nashville. We had a wonderful time! Chris was a sweetheart and very attentive. I shared with him a story about a friend of mine's young daughter who had struggled with reading for a long time. I gave her daufhter The Wishing Spell as a gift and it prompted her to read more and she learned to love reading. He thanked me for sharing the story wirh him and said it was the best compliment he could ever receive. ☺ Also overheard later...from a young boy to his mom after the signing. "Thanks mom, you're the best mom ever!" We also met up with nadiacreek and her son American Boy, who was very cute and shy. Lovely catching up with her. It was a fantastic day and I'm thankful to have experienced with my fellow fandom friends!

On further consideration, I would have been early … getting there for a signing at 4 Eastern time would be only 3 Central time, so that gives me an extra hour.
Yeah, you definitely have an extra hour so Central Time helps (It can be rather confusing switching time zones, at least for me.)
