So if you’re anything like me you’re probably feeling pretty disgusted and angry about everything going on related to Mark Salling.  More than a few folks in our fandom have been victims of similar child abuse and exploitation.  To help deal with my feelings of hurt, sadness, revulsion, anger, etc - I always feel the need to do something.

Sometimes, there isn’t anything you can say or do to make something better. Sometimes, there is a small thing you can do to help.  I have an idea of one such small thing, and a few options.

Former Glee star Mark Salling has been arrested for possession of child pornography, PEOPLE confirms.

“He was taken into custody this morning for possession of child porn,” Officer Aaron Jefferson of the Los Angeles Police Department tells PEOPLE.

The actor is getting booked in downton L.A. Crime Watch Daily first broke the news that the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit obtained a search warrant Tuesday morning for a home in Sunland, California. Officers found hundreds of images on his computer, according to TMZ.

Salling, 33, played jock Noah “Puck” Puckerman on the hit Fox show from 2009-15.

His reps did not return PEOPLE’s request for comment.

This isn’t his first run-in with the law: He paid an ex-girlfriend more than $2.7 million in March after she accused him of knocking her to the ground when she confronted him over an alleged sexual battery, according to TMZ and E! News.
