It should be uneventful. Steve has done this a million times, one way or another. Being used in public service announcements and publicity for the army came with the shield long before the ice did, and just because they changed mediums and became online in this century has made no difference for Steve. Shaking his head, Steve physically tries to chase the memories of last night away. He puts on his most charming smile- one that Tony always tells him that makes his knees go weak, and takes a deep breath, promising himself that he won’t think about Tony until he ends the live stream. These people are tuning in for a good cause, his whole attention is the least he can give back to them in exchange. Well, things rarely go according to plan, huh?

Bonding with Howard Starks son might be the only chance he has to infiltrate the organisation.... And to find Bucky.
Tony doesn’t want to get bonded. EVER. But he’s six weeks pregnant, and Howard insists that no Stark is going to be an unbonded mother. As his father gets the final say, and this Steve guy simply won’t be deterred, it looks like he’s going to have to deal with it.
But it’s fine, because they’re both determined to get out of this situation as quickly as possible... It would only be complicated if they actually fell in love.

Thoughts: OMG just Steve characterization in this is so interesting to me and very deep. I always enjoy Sabre's fics and this one is just knocked right out of the park. There's so much tragedy in Steve in the beginning when he goes back in time and tries to figure out what to do.
