Greetings! My name is Jerry aka Skitariiposting

but you can call me ‘Skit,’ ‘Skittles,’ ‘Skitarii,’ ‘Skim Milk,’ ‘Skimpy,’ ‘Skechers,’ or practically anything; as long as it starts with an S and a K, it will likely grab my attention.

I’m renowned on Tumblr for my ability to paint miniatures, play table-top games, and make random goblin sounds! I’m less renowned for my ability to make music, edit videos, write scripts, directing, create VFX for motion based media, act, voice act, manage social media, and partaking in passionate graphic design; but I do do that! In fact, I've got a college degree related to the stuff (Bachelors in Creative Media Production) and I'm always looking for work! (please hire me)

Tidefus, The Unrelenting Wake, General of The Depth Guard

...has been properly finished!

That's right, it's time for your once a decade "Skitariiposting miniature post thats actually Skitariiposting's miniature!"

I'm extremely happy with how he turned out! He was just needing a little TLC on the base, and I think it works fairly well. Thing is, I actually finished him up a little bit ago, but I forgot to post pictures of him here, whoops :,)

I've been testing some water effects on some minis and been looking into resin pouring, so he may resurface at some point with some water around his knees, but as it stands right now I'm calling this guy done!

Next project queued up is something admech! I've been itching to get some red and metallic back in my system, so expect some of that eventually :D

Just because she’s built like a war machine, doesn’t mean she has to avoid the ballroom.

Saw some cool art featuring a giant hat and realised I’ve only done a few big hats before, desperately wanted todo one and it turned into a rather elegant design in the end (thankfully, I was worried she’d end up looking like a pimp lol). I was tempted to actually paint this up with proper Mechanicus imagery, but decided to make it a little bit ambiguous so I might be able to use her as an Inquisitor and for other games.

If you’re wondering about that obscenely bright red, I used Rogue Hobbies’ signature paintset with just a contrast red over the top, created enough depth while still keeping the vibrancy of her paint. The resin pieces are some super super cool assassins from Anvil Industry

My username is pretty much what it says on the tin, despite the irregularity of posting them, I do typically post skitarii.

It's my pseudonym, Jerry, where the lore is.

So many folks already know this, but for those that don't: my real, government name isn't Jerry (shock and surprise, utter pandemonium) before this blog blew up and became more interacted with than my original blog it was a gimmick blog, and Jerry was the name of my OC who ran the blog. I had planned on Jerry being an everyman, a character everyone could like and relate to, so I wanted to give him the most basic name I could think of (sorry other Jerry's.) I didn't want him to be boring, though, so I mixed in a little goblin energy, and some "desperately wants to seem cooler than he is" energy to keep things interesting.

Slowly over time, however, Jerry became more and more of a stand-in for me, and his personality became more and more like my own; honestly there wasn't too much of a difference between the two of us to begin with. I, too, am a goblin who wants to seem cooler than he is.

Inevitably, I just cut the middle man and adopted Jerry as a monikor, and this blog morphed into my own personal blog.

So, in a way, the blog never changed. Jerry still runs it; It's just that I'm Jerry now.
