Ignore the fact that the candles aren’t lit because we fought the wind and cold for an hour and it just kept blowing out the candle flames 😭

Ok fam, starting on Padme’s fireside dress today. Wish me luck!

Excuse the haggard appearance, I have not slept in weeks, butttt I’m almost finished with the skirt tonight! I just need to take it in a bit at the waist, and then hem the bottom and add tulle. It’s looking so good!

(Except the ass part is too tight so rip if I sit down 😭)

After a few days of pattern making and adjusting, I think I’m finally happy with the corset base! Lucas made Padme’s waist SNATCHED (and for dinner too he must hate her 😭).

I started with a base/waist trainer I thrifted, but I still didn’t really have that overly cinched waist look. So added a thick elastic band around my waist to really snatch it, anddd modified my (what I thought was final) corset pattern, and I’m really happy with how it turned out! On to the leather material tomorrow 🙆🏻‍♀️✨

I made the mistake of cutting the pleather against the stretch, so it barely fits 😭 tomorrow I will try again and hopefully it will work better. Also, I washed the velvet scarf I thrifted and now it has a crushed velvet appearance 😭😭😭 does anyone have solutions to fixing this?

I only have 9 days left to finish it and life has been hitting me like a train lately. Will I make it in time? Stay tuned!

I finished the corset last night!!! It turned out great for my second only corset 🙏🏼 next is working on the gloves 🦾🦾
