hello, guys and gals! i've fallen into a bit of a conundrum here on ye olde tumblr. most of my 600+ followers are either dead or looking for hetalia content that i don't make anymore.

so! looking to re-invent myself, i've created a new blog where all the followers ... actually interested in what i'm currently creating ... can congregate! so, all five of you fantastic fellows can go and follow me over here on dinsengii!

autumn last year, i tried running my hand at a sci-fi tabletop game that took place in the year 2673 on the “wild west” of human spacefaring civilisation, an area known colloquially as “the brink.” it was my first real attempt at a large scale home-brew campaign and it was a lot of fun, but i had several issues with the system i used as well as scheduling. so, i cancelled it earlier this year.

however, using a reskinned version of d&d 5e, as well as our usual dm getting burnt out and wanting a break, has given me the chance to bring it back! (eventually, once we can all meet in-person again)! to celebrate, i made a new header for a rebooted campaign that takes place three years after the last one, where things have gotten a bit darker following the actions of the previous party ...

brink’s aesthetic is very big on 80′s and miami vice and vapourwave, with heavy cyberpunk and space western themes. inspired by blade runner, firefly, and star wars. needless to say, i’m super hyped!

Here’s another sketch of Rupert Nightbloom. - He’s a nervous sort.

Another D&D character - The is Gideon Proudfowl. He’s kind of the first real character I played. And now he’s a pseudo-antagonist in a game I’m DM’ing! Here’s a bit from his bio:

When local minstrels sang of the ancient heroes and travelling players acted out their perilous deeds, Gideon grew up dreaming of sweeping maidens off their feet and running evil villains through with a dashing flourish. So, it was no surprise to his mother, that as soon as Gideon could pick up a sword, he left home to seek his fortune as a gallant hero.
Out in the real world, Gideon soon found that it was a bit different from the stories. It was less a world of glass slippers and magical mice and more one of unwashed thieves and rabid dogs…

Another one of my D&D characters, Rupert Nightbloom. He’s a chap from a commune of night sky worshipping druids. Here’s a bit from his bio;

“However, Rupert wasn’t content to stare at the sky forever. He became convinced the answers were out in the world, not just above their heads. After some ‘convincing’, his elders appointed him 'Prophet of the Blue Moon’. An exalted rank amongst his people, or so he thought and wasn’t just a title they invented to get him out of their hair for a while.”
