You can’t just will things to happen. Sure, opportunities can present themselves but you still have to work for it. What you can choose to do is put yourself in an environment that syncopates with your passion. HAPPY 43RD BIRTHDAY, COLIN JAMES FARRELL! (MAY 31ST, 1976)
I’m just ready to step away from all of it. I really just want to go on a hike and see my boys and go on a road trip.

Hello, sir (*ノωノ)

It is certainly not abnormal what I went through, sadly. It is pretty much a garden variety tale of an addict, I suppose. And having an addiction and not knowing as a man what to do in a male-dominated society that puts worth and high value on emotions of alpha behaviour and pack mentalities and such. And it becomes carcinogenic. You know, if we as men don’t know how to deal with fears then it becomes carcinogenic. It results in violence and all sorts of madness.
“I’ll get the movies. I like, stock up, make sure that…you know, like Big, Goonies, these kind of things.“
"Oh really?"
"Yeah. Some Like It Hot and Miracle on 34th Street. And I may put on The Carpenters. You know, Karen Carpenter and her brother on the stereo. I may even go Bing Crosby.”
"Really? Wow!”
“Yeah. I love it man!”

Like every industry in the world, [Hollywood] has been dominated by men for far too long. For absolutely no reason, the world has been a male-centric game for millennia and that’s shifting, as well it should. It’s long overdue.
