It personally doesn't sit well with me to always depict herself as a victim and a "sweet quirky weirdo" when she has done a lot of heinous actions and excuses offensive jokes in her works.

Found this post recently about the hazbin leaker https://x.com/EMositeCC/status/1855001858559119869 Glad they got caught and while its good there weren't many it was surreal seeing the rt comments that acted like it wasn't a big deal and that it was weird in some Anti's eyes that people were happy about this person who committed a crime being put in jail. This didn't just affect vivzie alone, imagine working hard animating for a series for months only for someone to spoil the work and you possibly having to scrap it and doing it over. Different people had their financial bank info taken too. You can have whatever feelings you want about vivzie whether they are legit or you saw a screenshot of her head edited on Thanos doing something and believe it. Either way handwaving away a crime because it specifically happened to a series or specific person working in it you dislike is really messed up.

If I had a nickel for every time a fictional character in a viziepop story was a victim of sexual violence and in return violated someone else’s sexual boundaries in a way that was portrayed as no big deal while their abuse is taken fully seriously, i’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird, it’s so fucking weird Vizie this isn’t just morally weird it’s weird story-wise, you can’t just pick and choose what’s trauma, whats funny, and what’s sexy all in the same show, you have to have some consistency.

I wish hazbin hotel was a story about two kingdoms , kingdom of dark believed that it's inhabited by vile evil souls that related to the root of evil (roo) and kingdom of light inhabited by their good counterparts . And the princess of first kingdom wants to proof her people can be redeemed.

Medrano doesn't understand the damage she done to her story when she linked it to Christianity , since she wants to take different approaches and get a artistic freedom yet she'll always going to be chained to her source material,of course you can take some artistic freedom when you base your story on certain mythology but you still needs to study it ,understand it and then respectfully represent it especially if your story was "what if" case .

What I find damaging to the story is the fact that audience will get into the show with an idea in their mind on how the world going to be since you already based it on something familiar. So when your world doesn't match their expectations there's where questions kick in , best example for that is "no one knows what gets someone to heaven" scene, a lot of people started asking "what's about the ten commandments? What's about the bible? What's about jesus?" Those questions could be avoided if it was a strange kingdom that the good souls get in .
