Hi, there's an account on Twitter that's been using your "goddess energy" script without credit. I'm not sure if you approved that or are a free use creator so I just wanted to inform you because I'm a creator, artist and designer, too & I'd want to be credited properly for my work if reposted elsewhere. @aphroditeheires on Twitter. I don't think she means any harm though x
Hi darling,
That's so thoughtful of you, thanks for letting me know! I am very strict about my content being credited so always open to knowing of such instances. Indeed I didn’t watermark the 'goddess energy' graphic and now it’s all over Tumblr, WeHeartIt and Twitter… which is delightful, but it lacks credit source.
To confirm, I’m not a free use creator. I value my time, my branding, and my creativity, and all my art is a part of me. I believe artists should be credited where credit is due, because it is their hard work and energy after all.
Here are the terms of use for my graphics (or any content on Tumblr), for clarity:
- If it is for personal use (reblogging, sharing content, reposting, using graphics for blog/Tumblr/Twitter), feel free to do so! I’m happy to see my content shared, but credit should always be given. For instance when you reblog from me on here, credit is already inherently included, but if you repost something, it should contain credit.
- If it is for business use, and it was designed by me for them, credit is usually not required (it depends on the agreement made) since it is for monetary gain and professional use. If it was not designed by me for the respective client, it’s against the legal terms of use and I have no qualms reporting it.
Story time... There was once an IG account with 50k+ followers reposting quotes and photos, probably making some sort of profit off other creators’ content, with no credit or source given, and all followers assumed they were the creator based on the comments under the photos - now that I do not agree with, because it is not merely innocent lack of awareness, it is intentionally misleading. The account was consequently reported and removed.
I don’t have a Twitter account, so would any followers be kind enough to drop @ aphroditeheires a request to update the graphic to the watermarked one below? Her accounts seem lovely and indeed meaning well, she probably had no idea of the source of the graphic and that is fine, which is a different case than the IG one above.
Realistically speaking, I know that once the cat is out of the bag (a graphic or photo becomes popular and widespread across the net), it's hard to keep track and guarantee credit all over. But as much as possible, I like to be mindful about it. 😌
I put energy into my art when I create it, and by adding credit, that energy returns back to me in a harmonious exchange as a full circle. 💞💞
PS: who are you, kin soul, that you are a creator, artist and designer? I'm intrigued.
Have you ever glimpsed a work of art so marvellous that you remained speechless in awe of its beauty? Have you ever met a person and the sheer force of their presence, their aura, the light in their eyes or warmth of their voice knocked the breath out of you because something, somewhere on a molecular level, your cells born of stardust sang on the same frequency of the universe? Have you ever listened to a song or embraced a future lover for the first time and just knew and it was like coming home after years of oblivion? The universe is filled with so much magic and synchronicity, all we have to do is let our hearts be open to its beauty.

🌸 Details from my favorite artistic creations. 🌸
Current WIP, oil and acrylics on canvas. Exploring galactic themes + diversity, by stepping out of my comfort zone - first time working with deeper, richer skintones. Already love experimenting with the unique blend of colors and cold/warm undertones. 🌺🌼🌸
Honestly, I can’t wait to show through my art, through my books, through every creation of mine, just how beautiful you all are. It saddens me when I see people self-conscious, insecure or ashamed of their natural bodies. Of your curl pattern, haircolor, skincolor, the way your thighs don’t leave a gap, the dimple in your chin or the bumpy, asymmetric shape or size of your nose, or anything else. We all have insecurities, myself included - but I will not let that stop me from celebrating others. You’re all beautiful, period. The more people accept their unique features, the more the idea of “beauty” finally evolves, widens and reflects the true richness of the Earth.
This will be the first painting in my new art collection “Celestial Bodies”. Can’t wait to grow this series with each magical piece...
