How to Get CLIP STUDIO PAINT 1.3.8 ~ Full Version [UPDATE - 2.25.15]
Hello everyone!
I just spent my lifetime yesterday on a Spanish forum trying to figure out how to do all of this, asking questions via google translate, and I’ve finally figured it out! I’m going to simplify this a ton because it’s a lot easier than what they made it out to be, lol;;
NOTE: If you have the CLIP STUDIO PAINT trail currently installed on your system, please uninstall it. Then, go to your Program Files, My Documents, Program Data, etc, and delete the “CELSYS” folder from each location. Just to make sure that when you reinstall it doesn’t detect that you have had the trial version previously, be sure to run some type of disk cleaner to get rid of all the temp files. I used CCleaner to do that.
Now that that’s out of the way, let’s begin!
System Requirements: Windows Vista or higher x32bit or x64bit Works and has been tested on Windows 7 x64bit
EDIT: There were some problems with the activation process, so here’s how to fix it!
(If you have already tried going through the process before, I think it would work best if you restart the whole process and use CCleaner.)

- Step One - Download the latest version of Clip Studio Paint
CLIP STUDIO PAINT v1.3.8: Download
After that, install the activator for v1.3.8
Activator: Download
Now, the plugins—
Plugins: Downloads
- Step Two - Install the program. After installation, DO NOT OPEN THE PROGRAM. If it asks you for a serial, do that later. Instead, extract the plugins that you downloaded.
Move the plugins to “My Documents > CELSYS_EN > ClipStudioPlugin > PAINT; The folder should be empty.
- Step Three - Open the program. Once you get to the screen where it asks you for a serial number put one of the two in: EX: SP1DEE-DK45K5-729FSP-3NWDE2-C67JFF PRO: SP1DEP-DNPCWM-D0J355-UJ0PPN-45F1JC
EX is the version for Manga making, and PRO is the version for digital coloring. You can decide which one you want. I haven’t tried the PRO version, for I got the Manga version, but you can color on it as well. I think the main difference is the way your default canvas is started up.
It will ask you to activate it automatically or manually. Select manually. The set up will give you a string of 11 combinations. Here is where the Activator comes in.
- Step Four - (note, for this next step be sure your anti-virus is disabled.) Unzip the Activator and open one of the files. They both work for whatever version that you choose, so it doesn’t matter which one you use.
In the Activator (the “x-forge” file that you just opened), press “Generate”. Ignore the serial that it gives you, for you should have used the one I provided above. Copy the string of the 11 different combinations from the set up into the second box of the “x-forge” Activator. Then, push “Activate”. The x-forge Activator will give you a 2-part string of numbers. Copy it and put it into the set up the program.
Select next, and tada! If you did it correctly, you should have the program.
That’s it! You should now have the newest and full version of CLIP STUDIO PAINT!
