Punky seems to dislike my nail polish. I'll have to only paint one hand from now on. And not even because that's what Freddie did - but, somehow, for an even more Freddie reason.

such a blessing to have Ghostie snuggle up on the couch near me and purr. truly she is a cat
the water in our town is extremely nasty so we have one of those jug dispenser things. the triplets are fascinsted. every time we go to get water they're there. waiting. they know before we do where we're going. they're sticking their heads in the way trying to get the water first. they're licking the spout it comes from afterward. my husband said enough and got them a hamster bottle.
so now we know that cats can use a hamster bottle.

got a room cleaned out and finally brought them inside. since they showed up in October, and there are three of them, two girls and a boy, and the orangest one is so so so feisty, and the boy disappeared for a bit and then came back, we're naming them after the Madrigal triplets spooky names. we're giving them spooky names. halloween cats. i was vetoed but this is good too.

I've updated on the kittens plenty of times by now but I wanted to also add that we brought Mama Kitty (pictured a couple times above) and Daddy Kitty (not shown) to the shelter after we took the kittens in and they have since both been adopted! my friend at the library volunteers at the shelter and kept me posted for a while. it sounds like they were very loved in their time there, they both have forever homes now, and they've been fixed. I will miss the updates but I'm happy that all the sweet kitties have loving homes now.
and of course I would not leave you without another triplet update
