“There is no way I'm prepared to have this conversation without alcohol.” Seunghyun said as the two of you hung up your coats and slid out of your shoes.
You simply murmured your agreement as he headed off to the kitchen, presumably for more wine.
The taxi ride back to the hotel had been awkward, to say the least. You'd kind of run out of things to talk about & neither of you wanted to discuss the proverbial 'elephant in the room' until you got back to the hotel. So most of the ride was spent in awkward silence in between bits of random small talk.
In just a few moments you were both seated on the sofa facing each other, just as you had earlier that same evening, glasses of liquid courage in hand.

You had only made it about half a block before Seunghyun stopped dead in his tracks. When he quit moving you did as well, peering at him to see if he was okay. Between the dim city lights and his face mask you couldn't make out very much, but he was still holding on to your hand so that had to count for something. Before you could ask him what was wrong, he spoke softly. “This place that you're taking me...” his deep voice trembled a little bit. “Is it going to be very busy?”
You were a little taken aback by the clear apprehension in his voice. But then you remembered how happy he'd been when you had given him his space back at the museum. Maybe he just didn't like crowds.

People assumed Seung Hyun was fit. Given how active he appeared to be with fans, doing CF's with athletic wear sponsors, it seemed only normal that people would presume so. Plus, he was usually jumping from recording to dance practice, jet setting all over the world for his art and his acting... how could someone not have a trim figure when they were moving around all the time?
He also wore slim fitting clothes every day he was out of the house, making sure to let paparazzi capture all his flattering angles, so that everyone saw how trim and lean he seemed.
Seung Hyun let the world assume he was still a young, buff idol like he was in his 20's. It was just as good for his ego as much as his brand.
Times had changed though. Seung Hyun was a dad.

Seunghyun was obsessed with Advent Calendars.
You could never wrap your brain around why your husband did them. You found them sort of pointless, because all you really had to do was look at a calendar to see how many days there were until Christmas, instead of eating a piece of chocolate every single day in December. You were pretty sure that it was just because he wanted to cheat a little on his diet. Seunghyun always used the same excuse...
What you guys might not realize is that, on Oct.30th, Mark Grotjahn just opened a new exhibition of his work at the Gagosian Gallery in New York. It’s the biggest showing of his newer, abstract pieces that he’s ever done. So, Seunghyun came out of self-inflicted Instagram banishment in order to support his friend. I’m sure that he would have loved to be there in person instead. But since that wasn’t an option he did the best he could do. He did this knowing that it could lead to hate comments, but he did it anyway. For his friend.
Honestly, we could all use a friend like Choi Seunghyun.
For some odd reason, last night I was watching a lot of older Bigbang stuff on Youtube. One of those things ended up being the MV for Loser. And I know that most people believe that Seunghyun killed the woman that he was with because you see him wandering around, out of his mind, covered in blood spatter. But last night, I just figured out WHY he killed her.
She touched the fucking art!

Now that I’ve shown it to my Sister Wife (aka. @chanyeolspout) I can share with you guys as well. :) I designed my own VIP bracelet! It’s a black vinyl band with gold glitter, a crown charm, the Until Whenever charm, and Seunghyun’s birthstone (of course). I love it!!!
