Today I’m happy to release Praaven Reworked, a new version of Praaven by jje1000/potato-ballad-sims, edited by Simsmidgen and me. As usual this project took longer than expected. But with the help of our many fantastic testers all is well that ends well.

Simsmidgen and I tweaked some things more to our liking, replaced broken CC, reduced the overall amount of required CC, recoloured EA objects and/or replaced them, fixed major routing issues, reduced world file size, replaced/fixed all those bloody arches and stacked staircases, thinned spawners, improved terrain painting (at least we think so). We added the two festival lots by lowrisim and tweaked them a bit and also made sure that the tomb can be solved (yes, there is a tomb, go looking for it!). We tried to leave the world as original as possible though (apart from the things that didn’t work well). Public release is with permission of potato-ballad-sims.

Reblogging this because I noticed the DL link would give you the world file and nothing else. Not sure when or how that happened, as this has been out for more than 4 years now and no one complained. So I just hope for the best. Anyway.

Description : Whatever happened here happened some time ago. It’s a harsh but simple place, where sims have had to adapt, to be resourceful, to look after their own. Unaccustomed to strangers in Woeford, the locals could run you out of town, or worse, if they don’t like your face. They haven’t survived all this time, as well as they have, by taking risks. These sims have seen a lot, struggled to create a new existence for themselves, with what they had left. Where things go from here is up to you.

So here we are, sharing our world Woeford with you all. It will not be for everyone, especially those with the Neat trait, but we hope some of you will enjoy a different type of setting and game play that this world offers.

It’s recommended, due to the small lots sizes, that you turn off wild horses and unicorns with Nraas Register and the world has its own Lighting, so you might like to remove your lighting mod, if you have one, to experience Woeford’s skies first.

The world comes with all Custom Content you will need, including Rabbit Hole rugs. These will be separate files, so you can check each item first to make sure you don’t double up on content that may already be installed. Everything is in package files, including patterns, easy to merge, put in and take out.

Please ensure you install the required content, it’s not optional. If you want to see Woeford as it was built, you will need the content installed, otherwise you will be disappointed.

You can turn all the in game weather off and play in Summer only, if you want that dry hot desert feel.

This world comes without some buildings you are used to, like a police station. That is deliberate, so are the crappy buildings. Use the Tag “woeford” we would love to see your pics!
