Great Chalfield Manor in Wiltshire. Built around 1465-1480 and now part of the National Trust. Was used as a filming location for The Other Boleyn Girl and the 2008 BBC adaptation of Tess of the d'Urbervilles.

Lacock Abbey, Wiltshire. The Abbey's most famous inhabitant was William Henry Fox Talbot, who lived there during the 19th century and and produced the earliest known surviving example of a photographic negative, making him a pioneer in the field of photography. More recently, two Harry Potter films and The Other Boleyn Girl used the Abbey as a filming location.
