This photo, entitled "Winter Moonlight", was published on February 7, 1890 in The Photographic Times. However, the photographer (W. I. Lincoln Adams, managing editor of the magazine) stated that the photo had been taken about five years earlier, in the 1880's. The photo depicts a February morning near his home in Montclair, New Jersey and was produced using the technique of photogravure.
