!!!!THIS ACTUALLY HAS A REASON!!!

The most people put the water bowl next to the food bowl. This makes the water soiled from the cats point of view! Why? Because outdoors water is often contaminated if dead meat is next to it (aka an animal corpse, cat food)

If you put the water bowl next to the cat food the cat is worrying due to it’s instincts that the water could poison it.

That’s the reason why cats often prefered water that’s far away from the food source. Even toilet water seems cleaner and less dangerous for them!

Solution? In our home the water bowl is in another room. While the food bowl is in the kitchen, the water is in the bed room. Since we changed that our cats are drinking much more water and seemed even healtheir because of that!

@j-and-theflash maybe this is why our kitties insist on our cups?

I keep the cat’s water in the same room but on a different wall and our cat is fine with that distance. She rarely drank water before that.

October 30th is the Feast Day of Spoopy, which was first celebrated in 2009.

One of the first jawed vertebrates and one of the largest of the armored fishes called placoderms, Dunkleosteous was an aggressive predator. Serrated jawbones regenerated as they were worn down, and stayed razor-sharp by rubbing against the opposing blade. Learn more about Dunkleosteous.

Playing around with sphinx designs that may or may not change. It’s been interesting and tricky and I cannot animals, but I’m trying to learn.

11 DAYS UNTIL RELEASE!

Hello again everyone! With everything rapidly approaching the release of our 8, almost 9 year game project, it’s been difficult to keep everything up to date on our current status, but it’s high time we did a bit of a development roundup:

The Press demo and review builds:

Since Pax west and our panel where we announced our release date (that you can watch here if you’re interested.) We’ve let the press and streamers play through the first areas of the game, and the response has been amazing. Now though, we’ve entered the final stage: Review builds have been going out to press! Its a strange feeling to have our game getting its final evaluation before being let loose on the world, but here we are!

Bugs and playtesting:

Outside of some minor sound and art-polish bits, the game is pretty much done, so we’re focusing all our efforts on getting this thing bug free and enjoyable before the big day. We’ve gotten to know our game pretty well at this point.

Plushies!

Foxtales Boutique has been making Gawk batches in regular intervals and sells them as they become available. We tend to announce a new batch either through Facebook or Twitter, though you can always go here to check if there is a new one in stock.

What now?

In the time left until the release, we’re going to be regularly updating all our media channels and working diligently towards the game’s completion.
