Friedrich wouldn’t stop crying when he was first brought into the circle, they allowed him some time to grieve but after a few days of his “tantrums” they force him to settle into his new life. He kept quiet and never spoke of his name, he only muttered a few words in Ander. Anyway @dalish-rogue this one is specially made for you.

Firstly, this is breaking my heart😢😢💔💔 I notice the name Friedrich and the sentence “Ich will meine Mutter” (I want my mother) and it makes me think that Friedrich is a German name and in German “anders” means “other,” “different.”🤔 (I know the game says that they started to call him Anders because he came from the Anderfelds and he simply wouldn’t speak not even to say his name, but I can’t miss that detail of what “anders” means in German.)

Also, is there any fanfic out there that has given Anders a real name and an origin story? I appreciate fic recs😉
