Beautiful Ciri (Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon): The Witcher fanart [by Yokava]
You are the body and the blood of Lara Dorren. Each of us would give everything, even this lodge and the fate of the kingdoms around the world, to have such a daughter. However, it is impossible. We know that it is impossible. So we envy Yennefer.

finished witcher 3 this weekend and i love one (1) family
“In The Last Wish, it’s stated Yennefer was born on Belleteyn, and Geralt calculated that Ciri was also born near the festival.”
Happy Birthday to Yennefer and Ciri!! 🍷🎉💕 [ref]
like mother, like daughter // requested by @huffleppuffs
in that witcher gifset with yennefer and ciri that's not even really 'daughter', because 'daughter' would be 'córko!' (nice, but a more formal way). what she says is a sweeter, more of a pet version of 'daughter', would be typically used towards younger children. it's really the same meaning as in 'daddy's/mommy's little girl', so truly what she says is 'my little girl, how much you've grown'
oooooops, not “you’ve grown so much” but “you’ve grown so beautiful”. :P but still, “my little girl”, “or my little daughter” (more direct, but I guess nobody really says it that way)
Ahh this just makes that scene even more beautiful and heartbreaking! ;__;
I’m guessing she may have used the same word in the original version of the books. I haven’t finished them yet but i remember someone saying that the biggest difference in Yennefer’s characterization from the books to tw3 was that in the game they went for a generally colder, aloof demeanor while in the books she had become a big softie in the end. Personally i’m more than fine with both but in this case? Seeing Ciri safe and sound for the first time after who knows how long and after everything she’s been through to keep her safe? It makes perfect sense that she would drop all formalities for her little girl.
Thank you so much Ollie, that’s a nice touch ♥
things that make me cry
Goddamn Emiel Regis hugging Ciri in the anniversary vid from CDPR.
Forget the games even; in the books he never met her, only for a brief moment in Vilgefortz’s castle. He heard a lot about her from Geralt, he understood what Geralt is capable of doing when it comes to his daughter and you know, just thinking that if he would somehow make it and met her and get to know her I bet he would love her just like Vesemir did and she would love and respect him too and yes I’m crying okay why I don’t have anybody to blabber about my witcher feelings
The feelings…
