writer mocha i have a qwestion
what do you do before writing? like how do you get in the zone? also do you reread your chapter before writing the next or?
im tryna write but i feel so disconnected from my story 😞😞
it really depends on my mood! tbh, it takes a good two hours to actually START writing 😔
some things i tend to do are:
- consume smth that serves as an inspiration for the story (fics with similar vibes, youtube clips of the shows that may have inspired you, songs that can be used to get u in the specific mood for the scene ur writing)
- talk abt ur idea with someone else, as their passion can motivate u !! if u have no one to talk to then u can plan out ur story using dot points and summaries
- reread ur chapter to get an idea of where u can go next
- delete whatever u have so far and rewrite it — maybe ur struggling because u unintentionally backed urself into a corner (happens to the best of us)
- if nothing seems to help, take a step back. maybe work on another fic or rethink ur intended plan.

8: A scrapped idea for your current WIP uhhh so theres a wolfstar one but my take on The Prank. and there's a unique bit: Sirius somehow spills a potion on himself that makes him burn, being in contact with Remus is the only temporary cure. theres also Starry Eyes and Champagne Nights going on but you know what that's about.
9: What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet? a singer harry au, its drarry.
11:Is there a scene or anything in the WIP you are struggling with right now? ugh yes. so I'm tryna write Sirius coming out to Effie and Monty but I get really emotional and sometimes writing in general is so hard, i keep procrastinating cuz its tiring. i do love it dont get me wrong, but yk....its a lot. so there are little bits and pieces i find myself struggling with all the time. but thats okay. i can take my time<3
