my silly little marauders headcanons
these headcanons are in the context of jegulus, rosekiller, wolfstar, and marylily <3
- James is constantly losing his glasses and his phone. Every five minutes Sirius finds him running around the house looking for them, half blind.
- Lily loves languages and can speak many, it's her passion
- Regulus can't drive. He has no desire to, really, he has Sirius and James to drive him around whever he wants <3
- Peter can't drink caffeine, it makes him anxious. Sirius teases him when he orders decaf (lovingly)
- Marlene does the best eyeliner wing out of any of them, so she regularly has Sirius, Barty, and Dorcas coming to her for it.
- Sirius and Regulus took ballroom dance lessons for years and are by far the best dancers out of the group
- Pandora has all of the Taylor Swift cardigans
- Mary and Lily are both obsessed with plants, their apartment is full of them
- Barty also doesn't drive. he can, but he hasn't since moving in with Evan. Barty is THE passenger princess.
- Remus loves Pheobe Bridgers
- James and Lily get annoyed when Regulus and Sirius start talking to each other in French, so they talk in Spanish to get back at them
- Regulus secretly writes poetry
- Height for the guys goes like this: Peter, Regulus, Sirius, Barty, James, Remus, Evan this is the hill I will die on
- Mary is a pinterest girly all the way. Her boards are so aesthetic and organized
- James orders for Regulus (Regulus chooses his own food, but it's James' job to communicate with the waiter)
- Pandora has the prettiest eyeshadows
- Marlene listens to girl in red
- Sirius was James' first kiss
- They go on group roadtrips (don't ask me how they all fit in one car) and every time they all end up almost killing each other, but they ultimately make the best memories <3
I love all of them so much <3 feel free to take inspiration from these when writing your lovely fanfiction! they all make me unbelievably happy and I'm looking forward to writing these ideas into my own works :)
adding to this:
- Remus and Regulus are both really good at chess and once they stayed up all night playing against each other only to end up in a stale mate
- Sirius loves art museums so he goes to them regularly, and one of his friends or Remus go with him so he can rant about the art to them
- Regulus hates silences(they make him nervous) so he always listens to instrumental music with headphones
- They have prank wars, the skittles and valkyries against the marauders
- Sirius and Mary always do each others nails
- Lily doesn't use much makeup, only a lipstick and some foundation maybe
- James loves animals. like he's crazy about them. he reads animal facts, goes to zoos, parks, pets every single street cat and dog
- Sirius is the most touch starved person ever while Regulus would probably choke you if you tried to hug him without permission
- Barty and Evan do duets and James and Sirius sing with them and none of them can sing
- Lily has the most angelic voice, but she doesn't sing often so the first time she sang they were all like woah
- Peter is nervous around cats but warms up to them. he also really likes cheese
