Lily Evans had the prettiest green eyes.
Here they were, late to their friends' dinner party and Mary could not hurry up with doing her girlfriend's makeup because all her mind could do was fixate on one and only one fact. Lily Evans had the prettiest green eyes.
Surrounding her pupil, they were like a lush forest, verdant and gorgeous. Looking into them was like flying over hills ornate with evergreen trees. Mary could stare into them forever, lost in their light, their perfect doe shape, their overall loveliness. They looked like art. Well Lily, looked like art personified. Her cheeks dusted with faint pink blush, red lips Mary knew for a fact were oh so soft, her cute button nose and chubby cheeks. She had on an emerald green short cocktail dress that hugged her thighs so nicely that it made Mary practically drool.
But her eyes. Those eyes Mary had not been able to stop gazing into for Merlin knows how long.
"Mary, dear?" the red haired witch asked, a hint of confusion in her voice.
"Yeah?" the brunette replied, dazed.
"We're late already! Hurry up with my eyeliner, please."
"You're eyes are so beautiful." was what Mary's brain supplied her with in reply. Lily rolled her eyes, although she couldn't keep a delighted grin from covering her face. Mary wanted to kiss it away. Then realizing there was no one to stop her, she leaned forward and did just that, rewarded with a pleased hum from the other witch.
They did not, in fact, ever reach the dinner party.
