This is great art and everything but shouldn't njord have feet? Wasn't that basically his whole thing? There was a contest and some ice giant I can't remember had to pick her husband by looking at his feet. She wanted baldur or whatever his name was because he was hot but njord had the prettiest feet. Am I remembering right?

Skadi and Njord

Another Jotun and Vanir couple! This time Njord and Skadi!

For my interpretation I made Skadi a mixture between a fox and a wolf (mostly fox). She a more canine like jotun like Angrboda(though she was born that way not cursed like Angrboda).Her and Njord’s relationship is pretty much like it is in the myths. Skadi chills in the mountains while Njord stays in the sea but the two eventually warm up to eachother and have a couple of daughters together. The twins don’t really consider her to be their stepmother but are cool with her (Sigyn certainly doesn’t really like her though for what becomes obvious reasons).

Me and @sigyn-foxyposts went down a rabbit hole all because of this info on a random Norse name website💀

Freyjas & Freyr tall ass dad

I thought it would be really funny if Njord was like 10ft tall and that’s why freyja is a tall women (she’s 6’1ft btw)

Also his main inspiration was drayden from Pokémon for the beard, RoR king leonidas for the outfit and hairstyle and skin colour from DLH freyja

I am so glad we can agree Njord is a man with lushes blonde locks. And Skadi here is just hilarious, she looks so tiny! 😭

He looks so badass, I totally see where the sisters got their style from, I bet Gersemi would enjoy spending time with him. If she isn't too weirded out by the fact he..yeah 😅

Finally had time to finish me OC's!🫴 I based on Norse mythology! For a little series I'm making!

The one with the scales Is the god of the sea in Norse mythology Njoror(Or Njord!) I tried my best to make him look as colorful and aquatic at the same time. Most fish are known for becoming pretty colorful the deeper you go into the sea where he lives(When he isn't on his home on land Noatun)

Though I didn't do Njoror justice in the art. He's MUCH taller then this

And the human is Eitr but he's most usually just called blōtan which will be explained in later dates! But he was born in Noatun after Ragnarok. Njoror's whereabouts were unknown but the people he saved were blessed by him and the Vikings of that time formed a clan. To which he is a descendant and head chief of said clan!
