Guys, did we notice how the servants in Norse mythology always come in a group of two, either as a couple or siblings, like Thjalfi and Roskva! Now..

A bit of info!! ✨

Fimafeng meaning "hurrying service" was praised by the god's during the feast in Lokasenna, for being good job at welcoming guests and serving them! Sadly, he is killed out of jealousy by Loki at a party held by his master, after hearing him being lauded by the people for the banquet he had prepared to the Æsir.

Eldir meaning "fire-stoker" is Ægir's servant and outer guardian/herdsman. He too was praised during the feast for his behavior but was lucky to not have been slain. He was the first verbal opponent in the poem, personally keeping Loki out of the hall after he got kicked out and informed Loki what they were talking!

Personal interpretations! ✨

Personally, Fimafeng is giving me the "Sunshine, perfect beloved boy, could do no wrong" vibes, kinda like Baldr and is like.. not at all annoying just super sweet and humble! While Eldir is giving the "intimidating in appearance, but the softest, sweetest man alive!" just because he stands at the entrance and keeps up with Loki's drunken crap, even though he just killed someone Eldir most likely cares about! Also the fact he informs Loki about what they're saying.. He just feels a little blunt and honest!

"The Akka wives of the afterlife"

Once again I'm drawing Sami mythology with my own little spin on it. But might I add as always I use everything mentioned in sources for my inspiration and never mean any disrespect. It's just that some of the info I've added are headcannons that I came up with, such as Jabme-Akka being married to both Maderakka and her husband, Maderatcha. Jabme seemed so alone!

By the way The Akka is a female spirit in Sami shamanism, Finnish and Estonian mythology. Though to the Sami people it's more like a title to a group of goddesses. The rest believe it's one single goddess!
