Sherlock & Co podcast works amazingly well as a modern adaptation because unlike a TV series, it does the same thing with the pov that the original stories did - those were framed like they were a real account of actual happenings, and the podcast is styled like a non-fiction true crime podcast (kind of). It's like, yeah, I guess writing pieces about your roommate for the newspapers or whatever does translate to starting a podcast with him in 2023
