You Should Read "You and I are Polar Opposites"
I'm not sure when exactly I was clued into this super cute high school romance manga, but I've been a huge fan ever since. It follows a pair of high schoolers who are, as the title teases, polar opposites, but nevertheless are attracted to each other and make a good couple.
And then, slowly, you see another polar opposite pairing growing. And another is being teased.
I love that this series is absolutely mundane. There's nothing here that strikes a person as being wildly unrealistic. There's nothing supernatural, there's no wildly wealthy characters or stupidly powerful student council. There is angst, but it's realistic angst.
And it has this guy:
Meet Taira. You know how relatable a lot of people found Ishigami from Kaguya-sama? Taira is like that, but more realistic. He doesn't have that massive moment of trauma: he's experienced many little moments over the years, moments that taught him to keep his mouth quiet and do nothing to make people notice him.
He's come a long way since his first appearance, when he was saying some incel-ly sort of things, but he grew from that immediately. He's still got a way to go, but he knows he's got problems and he wants to deal with them, even if he has no idea how to.
Anyway, it's a great series, you should read it, here's chapter 1.
Edit: from a previous blog post, it appears that I started reading it October 2022. Thanks, me!
And the third and final chapter to the story. I hope you enjoy.
“Wait. Wait. Wait wait wait wait wait,” Ranma said, pointing at the strange woman hugging Ryoga's dog form. “Who the hell are you?”
“I’m Shirokuro!" She cocked her head, puzzled. "I transformed in front of everyone just now. Didn't you see me change?”

Headcanon:
The instant that Saiki and Teruhashi become a couple, they also become the parents of the friend squad.
Kaidou in particular is very likely to accidentally refer to Saiki as "dad."
The Detective Boys dragging Conan out of his shell and forcing him to act his age never gets old, canon or au verse
Also the Kudo parents hearing their son is in "he could actually, truly die" trouble only to respond with "let's scare him to death so he knows he could get into more trouble if he's not careful" is still hilarious to me.
My take on the ever popular Detective Conan AU where Shinichi and Conan are seperate people.
AU where Kousaku's mom lives. As well as several other differences.
anytime i see a “shinichi and conan are separate people” au im just like and mitsuhiko is conan’s bestie right? ofc he is that’s not even up for debate <3
Was there ever any doubt?
