So. Back because of unpopular demand: This AU.
And I have returned with some stuff for “In A Land of...Wait A Minute”, which are really just some doodles of Mellow. Be warned, bit of a long ramble below‼️
So in this story, Melody is not only hiding her magic, but a whole other identity as well. This is like- way before she finds out she's Emrys, though, so I'll save her breakdown over that for later.
I like to pretend that the whole thing started off by accident. Mel was supposed to mind her own business, but then Artie's life was in danger and it had been to risky to just jump out the way she was, and use magic in the open.
Unfortunately this happens when there's a fancy shmancy ball happening.
Fortunately, some performers left behind some costumes. And Mel did what she does best: improvise on a whim. She keeps the costume after that, not wanting the performers to get into any trouble. Gaius would warn her then not to do it again. Aaaand she won't listen. Eventually this turns Mel into a masked sorcerer doing various good deeds with magic, while successfully eluding the Knights completely, and simultaneously pissing Uther off.
Random bit of info: Mordecai (the character who's based off Morgana) finds out about Melody's double life. Also by accident. I wonder how he reacted 👀
