i think this is absolutely correct and good writing advice but also victor hugo would like to have a word with you about the parisian sewer system circa 1832

Ppl should stop whining about how everything is not explained in detail and call it bad writing. I blame the fav euro white het cis male Tolkien for that and how sadly too many of his fans are irritating snobs that want that every book and story is exactly like his. Also, I blame the present state of art of media and social networks that don't help imagination. Ppl don't want nor can imagina by their own, everthing has too be given, already procesed and exposed.
