Disabled people pointing out ableism by the wider queer community is not "ruining the vibes" of pride month
I was checking news about Georgia, the current fascist gov, the targeting against queer activists and activists in general, and how people have been protesting, etc ... and I saw that yankees think is about a state of them. Even when the georian flags is everywhere, the name of the politicians, the name of the cities, the language and writing system. I saw a few post explicitly having ro say "Georgia (the country)" to not confuse the gringos. Then Usa ppl wonder why everyone mock at them and is hated all over the world. I saw that ppl from Georgia had to answer asks from yanks that told them basically "BUT WHAT ABOUT USA???!!!" and that "THAT CAN'T BE HAPPENING IN USA BC WE ARE THE LAND OF FREEDOM" and all that like they are not a state police and everyone thinks its a dictatorship that has ruined the world. Inevitable reminds me when a usa politician "demanded" that a country (can't remember which one but was global south) stopped bc it was been against the constitution and whatnot, and everyone was like wtf???? bc the dude thought it was a state of usa and not a fucking country. Like... men.
How is possible that everything that happens in the world is about the empire and under its territory?? How?? The only maner in which usa is involved in every thing that is happening is bc is 1) a coup against a democratically elected president, 2) a rise in fascism, or 3) the repression of ppl bc usa will be helping or making all of that, selling weapons, Intel, funding terrorist groups, making fake news, etc.
U know the deal. Anyways, just a reminder that things are happening in Georgia and that we need to pay attention. Colonialism is in action all over the world and the far right and capitalism are tragically well and healthy, so let's pay attention

One of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen on this site is the idea that queer is bad because it’s ‘vagueness.’
Like…'but queer doesn’t tell me exactly who you’re attracted to right off the bat and immediately tell me who you’d be willing to enter relationships with’
And it’s like no offense but

You don’t have to immediately hear what i call myself and go ‘oh that’s a lady fucker right there’ because-and i swear Tumblr has completely forgotten this-
My sexuality is my fucking business and i don’t have to air it out to you for argument points.
To be honest, the whole ‘but queer doesn’t tell me your sexuality!’ thing has started to sound more like ‘but queer doesn’t tell me if your sexuality is an acceptable target’ and nobody owes anyone a chance to attack them and pretend to be a Hero To The Gays ™ for it
Plus, if you’re actually interested in somebody and want to know who they’re into you could o i don’t know,,, fucking ask them? Talk to them like a normal human being? Maybe get to know someone before you sink your teeth into them?
Like this idea that everyone must immediately know every label that could be stuck onto you or else you’re doing them a huge disservice is just fucking bananas and literally useless outside of a culture where suffering can be cashed in for permission to cause suffering, and that’s all this whole thing is about- wanting permission to pick on somebody because somebody else picked on you. And it’s fucking ridiculous.
