We cannot forget that Hannibal, in the script, sees Will after those three years and one of his comments is: "your hands are rough" like damn. he was like "who is treating you so poorly my baby? if you were with me that would NEVER happen. your hands would've been smooth boy"

guys remember when will and hannibal sat at a dinner table all alone in hannibals house in suits with oysters and wine at night and they ate ortolans without shielding their faces from the wrath of god and the ortolans burst inside their mouths andthe bones scratched the inside of theircheeks and it tasted like blood and will moaned and hannibal licked his fingers with will watching and will moaned and his eyes rolled back and his adam’s apple bobbed in his throat and hannibal watched him and then told him that was euphoric and a stimulating reminder of life and death and that will was radiant and will smiled a little bit with blood still in his mouth . yeah. yeah
