“No, based on the clues left, the dungeon boss is most likely at the right cavern.”

“Esper Liu is very confident, despite relying on instinct rather than intellect, like most of us-”
“Shush!” Shen Yuan finally decided he could not let the two espers continue fighting anymore. “The HQ has given us direction. We’re taking the middle route.”
Whenever there was a high-ranking dungeon outbreak, the association would normally dispatch only one S-class esper at most to handle it, assisted by a team of A-class or B-class espers. However, most of the team members were still recovering from the previous dungeon break and somehow, the only two capable espers left happened to be Luo Binghe and Liu Qingge - two S-class espers who were well-known to almost always handle dungeon outbreaks solo.
The reason wasn't because they were too overpowered. It was because these two in particular did not work well with others. Shen Yuan even asked if one of them wanted to sit out, yet for some reason both Liu Qingge and Luo Binghe insisted on joining him.
Shen Yuan sighed. Normally S-class espers at their level would already have their own exclusive guides, but apparently neither of them had one. Hence he, the association’s only A-class guide, was forced to accompany them.
As they walked, Luo Binghe suddenly grabbed his hand. “Guide Shen, should I carry you on my back? We should preserve your energy.”
Aren't you the one who's going to fight? Shen Yuan shook his head. “I'm in perfect health, Esper Luo.”
Liu Qingge clicked his tongue. “If Esper Luo is worried about needing guiding later, why don't you go back? You're not really needed.”
Luo Binghe’s eyes twitched. “Oh? Last I heard, Esper Liu was the one who nearly died without guiding before.”
Liu Qingge took Shen Yuan's hand this time. “As long as I have Guide Shen to help me like last time, I'll be fine.”
“.....”
Shen Yuan gulped.
Why did it feel like….he would collapse later, but not from the dungeon attack?
