Marvel vs. Capcom (Dreamcast) | Monday, 10.14.24

A little late on posting this, but did any of you fellow fighting game fans picked up a copy of Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes for the Sega Dreamcast console 25 years ago?

The game was released on October 7, 1999 in North America, though it featured arcade quality-like perfection, with the addition of adding in a training mode and an exclusive 4-player mode that wasn't available in the original arcade release, nor in the PlayStation port a year later, let alone in its respectively re-releases through either Marvel vs. Capcom Origins (which is no longer available) nor in Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics (which is available now).

23 Years Ago: Sonic Adventure 2 | Wednesday, 06.19.24

This was like 23 years ago, you know?

Despite being the last Sonic game on the Sega Dreamcast (and a last on first party Sega consoles before going third-party), Sonic Adventure 2 remains a fan favorite, not because it's a solid sequel to Sonic Adventure (1998), but because the game introduced Shadow and Rouge into the series, as well as offering two different story paths for players to either save the world as Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, or attempt to conquer it as Shadow, Rouge, and Dr. Eggman.
