It's been what 10 years ago since Sanzaru Games announced that they're not making another Sly Cooper game at all after Thieves in Time came out in 11 years ago (and it's now available to stream through PlayStation Plus Premium)?
What about Sly Cooper himself? He's currently stuck in Ancient Egypt at the moment.
Despite being released 13 years ago, Sonic Generations is no longer available individually for digital purchase (except for legacy bundles)
However, the remastered Sonic X Shadow Generations is available now and it's filled with new controls and unlockable content.
Developed by Insomniac Games as continuation to both Tools of Destruction (2007) and Quest for Booty (2008), Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time was released on this day in North America exclusively for the PlayStation 3 console 15 years ago!
A little late I know because it's been 15 years ago since Uncharted 2 came out exclusively for the PS3 console and all, but still, it's one of the greatest video games ever made. It even earned an average meta score of 96 out of 100!
So, kudos to Naughty Dog on this critically acclaimed action/adventure game!
The PS3 version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled was released through PlayStation Network in North America exactly 15 years ago.
However, despite being a moderate commercial success, the game was delisted alongside the Xbox 360 version almost 2 years later (around 2011) due to expiring licenses with Ubisoft (and because Nickelodeon and Viacom acquired the IP around that time).
Who's your favorite PlayStation duo in PlayStation Move Heroes?
On this day, the PlayStation 3 version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was released worldwide 15 years ago.
However, after being delisted alongside Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (due to Disney indirectly causing expiring licenses between Capcom and Marvel), it'll return this year alongside a handful of other arcade games emulated for the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics release this fall.
Unfortunate news to anyone who was or hasn't played the original Sonic Generations before: it'll be delisted exactly next month, so hurry and buy the game if you haven't yet!

The Japanese version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed was released on this day 10 years ago!
Released exclusively on the PS3 and Wii U consoles, it's a sequel to Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing (which didn't release in Japan for unknown reasons), featuring popular and underrated Sega franchises, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Samba de Amigo, NiGHTS, Jet Set Radio, Space Channel 5, Alex Kidd, and more!
Sadly, the Wii U version has been both de-listed and removed of its online features through Nintendo Network (online matchmaking, online leaderborards, etc.), but if you're in Japan right now, you can still buy and play this awesome arcade racer on the PlayStation 3 console either for online play or to snag EVERY trophy (platinum included) for 100% completion! After all, it is the superb Mario Kart 7 clone!
