The 25th anniversary of Spyro the Dragon isn't over yet!

Here are 25 trivia facts within series itself down below (while also featuring Crash Bandicoot):

the original game was released on September 9, 1998 on the original PlayStation console in North America
the very first Spyro game was conceived into development following the commerical failure of Insomniac's very first game they developed: Disruptor (1996)
the original game in its PS1 trilogy is the only one of the three (barring the Reignited Trilogy) where Tom Kenny doesn't voice Spyro himself, but rather by Carlos Alazraqui (who's known as the voices of the title characters in Rocko's Modern Life and Camp Lazlo respectively)
the game was released in Japan around on April 1, 1999 (April Fool's Day, roughly seven months after the game's North American release), though it had little commerical advertisement, nor an impact itself to the Japanese community, due to the game's "3D sickness" and how the controls and camera angels weren't going smoothly to anyone during gameplay
as the very first major antagonist introduced, Gnasty Gnorc was referenced in almost every mainline game (even he made a few appearances in a few Crash Bandicoot games either as a playable character or a boss)
Spyro was voiced by Akiko Yajima (known for her works in Blood+ and Mobile Suit Gundam at the time) in the Japanese dubbing of the first two games
