Can you believe it's been a year ago since Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard?

It's a selfish low bow I agree, but more importantly, following company layoffs, fellow Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon fans (myself included) are shocked to find that Toys for Bob (the developer behind Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time) had split from Activision Blizzard following the release of Crash Team Rumble not because Crash 4 initially underperformed in its initial sales figures in comparison to both the N. Sane Trilogy and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (despite being a commercial success after reaching at least 5 million copies worldwide by April 2024), but because they went "indie", which effectively cancelled any development on both a fourth season of Crash Team Rumble (meaning no Nina Cortex nor Pinstripe Potoroo), but also any plans for a "Crash Bandicoot 5" anytime soon.
