I just read that Lion may not be supporting Rosetta, and that means I can’t use my trusty/wretched Office 2004, which freezes my computer and helps me get some of my schoolwork done. Joy! I don’t even feel like spending $110 on Amazon for the 2011 version. Should I try using Open Office?

It's freeware and all you lose is some space on your hard drive. Give it a space, and maybe it'll even be faster than Microsoft Office, which is a bloated piece of software to tell you the truth (though so stupidly necessary -.-). Hell, it takes a while for Word to load up on my computer and my MacBook's got better specs than yours. x.x
