★ Riku paces whenever he’s thinking too hard or mulling over something. Shima used to complain that he was running down their carpet when she was a kid lol

★ I dunno if ya’ll knew this but Shizu’s actually a huge goofball and he affectionately calls Riku “Ri-tan”. He’s the best dork ever which makes his death all the more sadder :’)

★ Candi really likes playing with Maylin’s hair, braiding it especially.

★ Kari’s seen as the stern princess type with how she acts, and usually grumps around whenever Silas flirts with her.

★ Silas is the big brother of the whole group and everyone goes to him for advice or bits of cheering up!

★ Cerin is really interested in flowers; he picks them a lot and arranges them into bouquets and flower crowns, but he never has the courage to give any of them to Anora RIP

★ Anora is Queen Tsundere and I love her

★ Azure acts like a stubborn jackass sometimes but he really loves his sister and gets suspicious of people trying to make a move on her (Cerin)

★ Vela acts hyper all the time but when she gets serious she is a force to be reckoned with and is actually one of the most responsible people in the group.

★ Maylin does water yoga. Yeah. It helps her relax since she’s a very anxious person 24/7 haha

1. Your first OC ever?

Oh goodness. Um, as far as I can remember, my first ever OC was a cat girl named Kiwi. She was the previous Shima, I guess you could say? Like, the pre-development stage version of her, haha. She had green hair, black cat ears, a black dress and special jewels on her hands that she could use to fight or whatever. (I have pictures, but they’re from the 2nd grade so yeah no not happening) I guess Riku was also my first, since I made them at the same time–but back then, he wasn’t even the Riku we all know now…geez this is really embarrassing but um, he actually used to be a Pikachu named RP, which was short for Rare Pikachu XD (Keep in mind that I was like, 6 when I made these characters up lmfao). So yeah, RP used to be a Pikachu with peculiar markings and abilities, hence the name. And Kiwi was his partner, they went around catching Pokemon together! So my first OC was a Pokemon OC actually! Though of course those two have evolved so much since then, RP’s Pokemon now Kishuma design is almost the same as the original with a few minor changes, and Shima is completely different from Kiwi now. They’ve been with me for such a long time…especially concerning RP, I was so attached to calling him that, I didn’t want it to change, which is why his name now is Riku Prometeo! RP for short ^^ Funny how as I grew up, those two grew up with me…they’re very special and important to me. (Ahh, now I’m getting all sappy and sentimental! Oops!)

27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song?

Yes, actually! There are a few who’s appearances and/or backstories were inspired by Vocaloid songs (OF COURSE), and there’s one story in particular of mine that was inspired by the song Deep-Sea Girl. (It’s called The Bottomless Ruins as of right now!)

I came up with the idea for Riku’s backstory (AKA The Original Rulers) from the song Viva La Vida by Coldplay. That’s basically his theme song, haha. And Shizu’s is probably Seeing A Sixteen-Day-Old Moon.

Archie–my AI program OC–falls in love with a human, similar to how the song Blindness Poem works. But he gets a happy ending, unlike the song >w

And the last one I can think of off the top of my head is Ryo and Yumi–two OCs that I originally planned on having their own story, but I could never come up with a good enough plot, so now they’re two guildmasters in a rival guild to Shima’s in Among the Stars. Their appearances are based off of the people from Worm-Eaten Psychedelism.

Actually, a lot of my fanfictions are based off of Vocaloid songs, especially concerning Mother 3. Probably half of the AUs I have for that are from Vocaloid!

Aaron: Preshus child, he’s from my Shadow Hunters series, he has a huge crush on the main character and will do anything for her. m

Simon: A brave, selfless and adorable adventurer! He’s from The Bottomless Ruins and is the main character, he goes to explore some islands with his friends for summer vacation and meets tons of interesting people and goes in search for–obviously–the Bottomless Ruins! Simon’s just too pure, he will always help out those in need, no matter what the case!

Klaus: He’s a demon who lives all by his lonesome in his rotting mansion in the Demon World, until he encounters the main character Adalene and falls in love with her, eheh! He usually wears bandages on his arms to protect his magic circles and burn marks, poor baby got caught in a fire ;w; Despite his kinda scary demon appearance he’s just a huge softie who wants attention. (Basically, he’s a lot like Yato from Noragami. Super clingy to Adalene and will do just about anything to protect her :D)

who’s the cuddler: Surprisingly, Shion is. Only when he’s in the mood for it, though. And he always makes sure to be the big spoon.

who makes the bed: Alba! He cleans up after Shion’s lazy messes haha

who wakes up first: Shion’s an early bird, Alba sleeps in. Sometimes he’ll just lay there and watch him sleep 0w0

who has the weird taste in music: Alba does, totally. Shion will listen to it with him though and make super sarcastic comments about his awful taste in music. (“Hero likes Vocaloid? Seriously?” SHHH Shion Vocaloid is great okay)

who is more protective: Oh my god Shion without a doubt, he has the most ridiculous possessive streak in the world

who sings in the shower: Alba does. Shion never lets him live it down //snorts

who cries during movies: Alba. (“Why are you getting so emotional, hero?” “B-b-but the dragon…*sniff*” )

who spends the most while out shopping: Shion lol he has no restrictions and being Creasion he can buy whatever the hell he wants if he flaunts his status

who kisses more roughly: Shion does~! Alba’s a super nervous kisser hahaha

who is more dominate: Shion. No doubt.

who makes the bed: Haha neither of them usually but Riku does it if he remembers

who wakes up first: Riku’s up super early in the morning, Shizu will sleep until 2 PM if someone doesn’t wake him up first XD

who has the weird taste in music: Shizu, idk, I feel like he’d be into all the weird stuff!

who is more protective: Riku. Though if you mess with Ri Shizu is very capable of kicking your sorry ass

who sings in the shower: Shizu. And really loudly. He does it on purpose!

who cries during movies: Shizu totally what an emotional sap (”Ri-tan why is this so sad? Uwaaah!”)

who spends the most while out shopping: I feel like both of them are satisfied with the things they have, so they’d only buy the necessities, but if I had to pick I’d say Shizu

who kisses more roughly: Ooh, that’s hard. Riku’s actually a nervous lil marshmallow when it comes to intimate stuff, so it all depends on the situation //shrugs

who is more dominate: Both of them? Maybe?

my rating of the ship from 1-10: 9…there’s one pairing I ship more than these two, and that’s Riku and Shima for sure!

who makes the bed: Gil! He is a servant after all, he always has to make sure everything’s perfect for his master ;D

who wakes up first: Gil, to make breakfast and do other things. Oz likes sleeping in late

“Ri-tan, Ri-tan!”

Riku lifted his head curiously when an all-too familiar voice sounded in the distance. Black eyes narrowed and scanned the premises of the Ruler training grounds, blinking when he couldn’t seem to find the source of the sound.

“Surprise attack!”

The land elemental stared as a brown and tan blur came flying out of nowhere, sprawling across the grass a couple feet away from him in a heap.

Shizu huffed, sending several strands of brown hair flying up. “Ah…I missed!”

“I didn’t even have to move to dodge that,” Riku snorted, raising an eyebrow at his best friend’s silly behavior.

:D Actually yes I do! I’ve never actually drawn it out before but I have a basic picture in my head. I’ll draw him along with the other 8 Rulers if I have time today! ^^
