Todoroki: There’s only one thing worse than a soul in a bottle
Todoroki: *Rips the paper off to reveal the full sentence, saying ‘Deku’s soul in a bottle’*
Bakugou: Deku
Todoroki: NO
I see the 20s are already repeating themselves with The Great Depression...but instead of an economical depression, we’re talking an entire generation of millennials with depression. Rise up

All i can imagine now is the "trust no one - not even yourself" meme but with TDS and PSMD Chim
You mean like this
What she says: I’m fine
What she means: The partner being the one to disappear in PSMD defies all the logic of previous PMD games and makes the player truly realize how it feels to have someone you care about so much just vanish. Up until this point it has always been you, the player, who has to leave, but the pain doesn’t last for long because the game jumps ahead to when you return/are revived. We as players don’t get to witness the months or years that pass after that disappearance, we do not get to see how the partner experiences that loss and the amount of pain they go through, so we brush it off without meaning to. When the partner is the one to disappear, leaving the player behind, it is so much more impactful and really shows that there are consequences, and we get to live through the pain of our closest friend being gone for good, to have to continue to live on without them, to have that endless desire to meet with them again no matter what the cost. And it is the partner’s clear reluctance to leave and their wish to remain with the player still that really hits home, making the message all the more powerful since there’s more at stake this time around. It is heartbreaking and tremendously bittersweet, making it the most emoutional and moving farewell scene out of all the PMD games to date.
Some of you have never lost your partner only to miraculously have them be revived with the help of your once arch-nemesis and it shows
*Record scratch*

Yup, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.
