Where does the name shima come from? Just curious. Also how long have you been drawing? And i dare to share your very first drawing! >:3 I could probably wait for an ask meme, but hey, answer when you feel like!
Ahhm, I feel like I’ve answered this before…lol!
To sum it all up, when I was a kid I was very easily influenced by the things I read or the games I played. The first ever manga I bought as a child (this was a long loooong time ago, probably around ten years ago or so) was a series called Pita Ten (it’s actually really good and I still have the series, it’s pretty heartbreaking for a shoujo manga haha). And one of the characters in Pita Ten was named Shia. She had this whole crazy backstory arc thing, and a name confusion since she had amnesia or something, and during that time her memories were gone she was called Shima! Of course I really liked Shia as a character, and tbh Shima’s previous name was Shia until I decided to switch and add the “m”. She was one of my first ever OCs, so she’s very special to me. So yeah, Shima from Pita Ten inspired my Shima, but honestly now all they share is the name. They don’t even look alike anymore, they used to though //shrugs
Another reasoning behind Shima’s name–this was pure coincidence but it’s pretty awesome–is because as a kid I was a major otaku (and. Still kinda am lmao) so I was obsessed with Japanese culture and all that. Shima in Japanese translates to “island”, and my real name just so happens to also mean “island” as well. So technically. My name in Japanese could be Shima. Lol
FRHJRHGIR GOD–why would you make me do this honestly. I have a huge box in my closet full of artwork from the age of like…2 to 13, I could go digging through it but I’d rather not

If I showed you my first drawing it would probably be a whole bunch of scribbles tbh, like I said I have a box full of art that my mom saved over the years, and the first was from when I was a wee child just learning the beauty of crayons
I have tons more I could post if you want–I still have the very first drawing I did of Lucas and Claus back in my junior year of high school //sniffs and wipes away tearsI never get rid of any of my art, it just stacks up in huge piles of paper in my closet and when I look back on it years later I either cry or laugh–or both sometimes.
Sorry this post got really long and rambly lol. But it was fun! A trip down memory lane for me
Ba dah daaah! I finally gave Shima a (much needed) outfit upgrade! Now she actually looks like the Ruler of the Stars.
I drew new outfits out for the rest of the Rulers, too, this was just the first one I did haha. It was extremely difficult choosing colors for this one, since Shima’s outfits usually consist of blue and black, but I wanted to add purple too since that’s her defining color. But aah...! I’m really happy about how this turned out, and if I have time I definitely want to do the rest of the Rulers too...!
DO NOT STEAL THIS CHARACTER. SHE BELONGS TO ME. Please don’t steal the outfit either, since that took a lot of referencing and thinking to come up with, and I’m really proud of it. You’re more than welcome to make fanart!! I would probably die of happiness from that--!

Sure thing!! I’ll share some info about our ruler and savior for sure
Obviously, he’s the creator of Shima’s world.
The first thing he ever created were the Grandmasters, the pillars that support the world as we know it. And they were the first magical beings to be created. (Astraeus was the first among the seven to actually come into existence.)
Some time after that, he created the Rulers! Riku came first since he is the Land Ruler and while shaping their world Lord Arkeun made the ground we stand on the first thing to hold the world together.
While he does have some level of interference among what goes down in that world, he prefers to stick to the sidelines and watch. Divine intervention is a very serious matter, so only when times are extremely tough does he step in. One example of this was the worldwide conflict between the regular humans and magical beings, and that was when Lord Arkeun decided to create the Rulers to help achieve peace.
He’s a very calm person, seeing as he pretty much runs the entire world. So he’s gotta know what he’s doing and keep a level head lol.
He’s also sort of modest? Like, he doesn’t like to take the credit, he simply shrugs it off. (One time when Shima encountered him she said “You created the Rulers!” and Arkeun just goes “They were needed to protect this world” so like he wasn’t all haughty and like “Haha yeah that was me I know it’s pretty cool right” sort of thing)
He also bears a level of guilt when it comes to Riku, because of everything that has happened to him over the last millennia. Of course Riku doesn’t blame him or is mad at him for creating him in the first place, but Arkeun feels like he owes Riku for everything he has done for the world, so! That’s why, when Shizu came to Arkeun after he died and begged for some way to be with Riku again, Arkeun decided to grant him permission and reincarnated him into Shima ^^ Normally he wouldn’t do that for someone, but Shizu and Riku are a special case since they are Rulers and his “children” in a way.
Aaaand yeah! That’s all I have for now, Arkeun is one of those characters I haven’t really thought about in-depth just yet, but he does have a couple things I can talk about. :D
Which ATS OC would you say is the most dangerous and why? :3
Oh gosh!! That’s actually really hard to say, since so many of them are pretty strong!
Hmm…I’m assuming you’re referring to the main team here, so excluding the Grandmasters, I’d say Riku is probably the most dangerous? He has more experience than any of Team Star, he’s lived through hundreds of wars and conflicts over the past one thousand years so he knows how to fight, and boy you do not want to piss him off;; it’s actually very difficult to trigger him into his “dangerous” mode, but he is hella scary when he’s mad…
I’m going to post all of my unfinished(?) Inktober doodles over the next couple days, so here’s one!
This is one of my OCs! I very briefly mentioned him in this post several months ago. His name is Terrence and he’s one of the characters from Among the Stars, in one of the sister Guilds to Shima’s! Pulling right from that post, a brief description: Terrence is the heartthrob of every teenage guy and girl in the guild and in the town. He has a very upbeat and teasing/flirty personality; he often plays pranks on others and frequently goes on dates with people of all genders. Even so he has a weird attachment to Misto (another OC of mine) and will go out of his way to bug him whenever he can, and proudly boasts about Misto’s abilities to others (and Misto, at first, wants nothing to do with him lol). He’s really good with kids too! And his element is lightning.
So yeah! I love Terrence a lot, he is my son, my cute sweet son, protect him~ <3

Riku was requested earlier–and of course, Shima was short to follow after that~ IT’S DESTINY.
I’m not sure if I like how the colors turned out on this one…maybe I shoulda gone with Shima’s standard outfit, but…(Riku’s in his Ruler clothing, so I wanted to have Shima in hers too–)
