I recently made DustandHalos' Sniper Hux for AUSA 2016, draped and sewn from scratch! The artist was a miracle and provided front/back/side line art. Bless.
Every so often I buy fabric for a costume and then remember that it's scaled to a 6'3 man so the proportions would look hilariously bad on me, but the fabric is so character specific that I'd be hard pressed to find another use.

Neither! I had that issue where I knew what color I wanted (the old 613a) but neither epic nor Arda carries it (they both have a 613 equivalent which is a step more blonde). I found an amazon seller (angelaicos) with a 613a White Blonde wig and it was a miracle. The quality isn't great and it's thin, but it worked.
Your Blanche cosplay is everything! I saw you at Otakon and even walked past you in artist alley, but I was way too shy to ask for a picture so I just stood there squealing quietly/gawking and can I just ask HOW INT HE WORLD DID YOU PULL OFF SUCH AN ACCURATE COSPLAY IN SUCH LITTLE TIME? p.s. I really wanna cosplay as Blanche (someday), unfortunately I don't even know where to begin ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thank you so much!!It's hard to describe but it's kind of like when you're watching all those competition shows on Food Network and the chefs make something crazy in 30 mins and you're sitting there wondering 'how the heck did they do that of the top of their head' and it's the exact same concept. When you've been sewing for long enough, you remember the patterns and the steps and soon enough you look at a costume design and think "Oh, I know how this should come together (probably)".That and I don't sleep ah.

2am of Otakon I gave up on Satan's Leggings so I could sit down to chat with friends. A Spark walked by and I ran after him for this pic since my dignity apparently jumped ship with my pants. An IG follower commented that Blanche is probably the most uptight leader normally, but also a crazy lightweight. Head canon accepted.
I have very limited access to my account at the moment, if that wasn't obvious! Working on getting that sorted out, but in the meantime, I just got back from Otakon and I had a blast! I didn't manage a planned shoot in Blanche but hopefully I'll get to that back in NYC. Time to recruit a Spark and Candela *A*
