Playing anything after playing assassin’s creed for a month: why the fUCK can’t I climb this
assassin’s creed was the first video game I ever played, and I finished the first game in a weekend more or less without pause. then I went to work on Monday and, being totally unfamiliar with the Tetris effect, was extremely taken aback by the immediate impulse to reach my teller station by vaulting over the counter. I mean, I didn’t even question it at first. I made it maybe two long purposeful steps forward before my brain caught up and I spent the rest of the day doubting my own actions.

chromedome & rewind doodles i posted on my twitter last night! i also talked a lil abt my designs for them: my CD gijinka is inspired by masamune shirow’s & leiji matsumoto’s works since chromedome is like a sad space (ex-)cop and i wanted him to sorta emulate that! when i first designed my rewind he was heavily inspired by grace jones but i’ve since added elements of geordi laforge (i’ve been watching a lot of TNG lately lol) & a little of Storm and I guess a little Cyclops too? i just like to take things i like and mishmash them until it works haha
i had a super stressful week signing the lease for my new apartment so this felt nice and therapeutic to draw… (i still have to move in tho…)
