I did a thing for a contest and I think it turned out pretty durn cute

My favourite thing about their friendship is that they are both dreamers.

My favourite thing about their friendship is that Charlotte could easily be a spoiled, intolerant, horrible bitch, and Tia could be mean, bitter, hateful, and jealous, but both girls are sweet and caring in their own ways. And despite have almost nothing in common, the two have been friends since childhood even while growing up in a time when their friendship would have been frowned upon.

Tiana and Naveen’s Jaeger (Evening Star) has the unique capability of leaping extremely high in and out of water, it focuses mostly on projectile weapons rather than hand-to-hand combat. Out of the giant robot, Tia and Naveen love to brighten up the spirits of all their teammates and other rangers by bringing homemade food and lively music to the recreational halls.

genebeanbelcher: #oh my god when naveen first met tiana he said HAVE WE DRIFTED BEFORE BCS UR ALREADY IN MY MIND and then he winked #and tiana just turned around and left the room and naveen was like WAIT #the lengthy testing procedures determine they are in fact drift compatible #and also they become friends slowly over the trial period after naveen’s like WELL FINE I SHALL NEVER FLIRT WITH YOU AGAIN #and tiana’s like well good that’s exactly what i wanted prince charming #and she’s so horrified by the junk he eats in the caf that she starts making lunches for them to share #and naveen confesses that he used to dream of being a professional musician and she’s like well #maybe you could play me a little something sometime and he’s like maybe i could #and then literally that night he shows up outside her room with a guitar slung over his shoulder and sheet music under his arm #AND THEN IT’S THE NIGHT BEFORE THEY’RE GOING TO DRIFT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND TIANA’S LIKE OH MY GOD… I’M IN LOVE WITH HIM #and she’s terrified because when they drift he’ll know and she doesn’t want him to find out like that #like she doesn’t want it to be something that’s outside of her control #and then naveen is at her door again and she lets him in and he’s like #I CAME HERE BECAUSE I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT I LOVE YOU AND I DID NOT WANT THIS TO BE SOMETHING THAT WOULD ALARM YOU #WHEN WE DRIFT TOMORROW. like he doesn’t want it to shock her #and he’s like AND I KNOW YOU DO NOT FEEL THE SAME WAY FOR ME AND SO I UNDERSTAND IF YOU WISH TO CHANGE PARTNERS #and tiana’s like no. and she very shyly reaches out to touch his shoulder. #i think that you’re just the partner for me #AND THEN THEY MAKE OUT #and they’re super disgustingly in love and when they see mako and raleigh they’re like lol #they’re so cute acting like they aren’t in love

he’s got friends on the other side 

David Gilson is a French Artist. In 2007, over being excited for Disney’s Black Princess, he created a plethora of wonderful artwork in anticipation. 

Many of them created during earliest production in which the film was then titled The Frog Princess and the heroine was named Maddy the chambermaid. These works since have been passed around as if they were conceptual artwork during production. In part for being well done and existing a year prior to any real art released to the press and public. 

As The Princess and The Frog hops towards five years since theatrical release, it it time to identify these great works of art as they are, fan art.

The right column showcases the beautiful pieces by Disney Artists. David Gilson’s fan artwork is used often when talking about natural hair for Tiana. Lorelay Bové, Sue Nichols, Chris Appelhans, Armand Baltazar and Kevin Gollaher have drawn natural hair in their concept art and unfortunately that aspect did not make it to realization.

David was contracted by Disney Publishing and Disney Consumer Products for Tangled in 2010. Hey, who knows maybe all the attention to his Tiana art landed him the job. We wish him the best in all his artistic endeavors!
