no bc i think ckarl is v effusive with the ppl he cares about, draping himself over them on the couch and spinning them around the kitchen and singing and constantly giggling excitedly about how he can’t wait until they’re married and going “hey!! thats my fucking wife!!!” to literally anyone who he thinks could have the chance to bother them in public (it was fine. its really fine karl he really just had to move past us to get the bread and then the guy is 6'5 and jacked and karl tries to act like he’s going to actually fight the guy and q has to heard him away while sapnap talks the guy down)

and we’ve talked about csapnap words of affirmation kinda guy, but its so literally so true, hes the kinda guy just to roll over in the middle of the night and give heartfelt declarations of love that are maybe a little cheesy but they make q cry anyway and karlnap can both tell even though he tries to hide it and hed want to stay up all night drafting his vows to make sure they’re perfect one thousand times over

and quackity, well he tries he does, he wants to show them how much he loves them too. but he gets tripped up every time, gets to nervous or says it too quietly for it to be anything big or right or anything like the two of them are. and they say it so easily, like it doesn’t scare them to say, that they don’t get terrified saying every i love you that they won’t hear it back

so he builds them a country bc thats the biggest thing he can think of to just give them, something to show them all at once how much he cares, builds his love for them in every brick, builds it big enough to fit all of the love he has in his heart

Bro every time I think abt how Karl consistently falls in love with every version of Sapnap he meets but doesn't for Quackity I get so sad... like I know on a meta level it's cuz Q just loves making his characters fucking absurd but on a narrative level. HOOO

Something abt Karl and Sapnap's bond being something cosmic and immortal. While Quackity's and Karl's was something more simple, more human. Sapnap and Karl being guided to each other by the stars while Quackity and Karl found each other by chance and built something all on their own.

Something abt how Sapnap and Karl's connection will persist in every reality, every timeline, while Quackity's was one made entirely unique, by a single set of circumstances to bring two people so close together by chance. Their love being no less real than Karl and Sapnap's, the only difference being that while Karl and Sap's love was for whatever reason intended by the powers that be, his and Quackity's was only determined by their own will, their own want to be with each other.

Something abt the inherent tragedy of falling so deeply in love with someone who just Isn't your soulmate. Something abt putting in the effort to build something where there wasn't necessarily meant to be anything, out of pure will and the determination to Love someone. Something abt the tragedy of that rare, beautiful construction then being ripped away by a universe that didn't think it fit within its own plans.
