you didnt understand, and i couldnt explain.
Who’s messier/forgets where they put things more?
He has one special part of the house he keeps very clean in an almost… archival fashion.
I told him I had to cut him off because of length and that doesn’t seem to have bothered him. He was just glad he could show humans some of his minerals.
- Megatron
my ideal postcanon megop dynamic is just:
i feel i should make it clear that at least for g1, the first message is ABSOLUTELY op
peace talks at maccadams 👁 👁
underrated trope: “i’ve lost my memory and idk who you are but i just have this feeling that i’m supposed to trust you”
This - but the feeling is absolutely, completely, 100% wrong.
Person 1: “I don’t know what it is about you…I just know that I can trust you.”
Person 2, their actual, literal worst enemy: “Excuse me, what?”
Cue enemies to friends to lovers speedrun.
This but person 1 is faking to get out of a tight spot and then when enemy 2 confusedly goes with it things just escalate out of control
…Actually, what’s a ‘butterfly’?
I’ve had this dork on my mind so I did that one Inuyasha meme. Breaking into Megaop art with memes and angst, as you do
While I have your attention, let me shamelessly plug my TFP Megaop fanfic “Change, In All Things, Is Inevitable” (can’t directly link to it b/c Tumblr hates links, but you should check it out!). It’s about the pre-war friendship between Megatronus / Orion Pax (and Soundwave) and their inevitable fallout. It’s a multichapter fic, but each chapter can exist as a stand-alone. (Think of it like 11 shorts in one package! Isn’t that generous? (。•̀ᴗ-)✧ Chapter 11 is my personal favorite).
what cyberverse s2 actually is
I mean yeah Prime’s got hips but don’t forget the lord of the curves himself
Transformers Fic Recs
I enjoyed all of these, but my absolute favorites are marked with “ ***** ”. I still have a few other fics to rec, but in the interest of separating my top faves (and keeping this list from getting even longer than it already is) I’ll post those later.
Last updated: 11/14/2020 Fics are listed in no particular order.
I drew Optimus wearing a flower crown and I’m proud of myself

Change, In All Things, Is Inevitable
Summary: What remains in memories, when all else is lost. A discussion under the stars between old friends. Post-Predacon Rising.
Like with previous chapters in this series, this one can exist as a stand-alone (though it certainly doesn’t hurt if you’ve read previous chapters! (。•̀ᴗ-)✧ )
The stars were always a comfort to Megatronus.
The majority of his life had been spent in the suffocating darkness of a mine, completing the same repetitive tasks day-in and day-out. There was no sunlight to suggest the passage of time, no functional chronometer to tell him when he could expect his next energon ration. Each day was one menial routine after another, his systems consistently short on energon and recharge. Miners were always starved of both. They were kept functional enough to work, but the deficit ensured that was all they had the energy for.
Megatronus’ overseer in the mines once said hunger inspired obedience, for hunger could tame even the most defiant spirit. After living with it for centuries, Megatronus grudgingly had to agree.
His life was different now. Better. A gladiator’s duties were simple: fight, put on a good show, and repeat. He trained to keep himself sharp, but apart from that, Megatronus’ schedule was relatively free and unmonitored. “Down-time” was still a novel concept to him, as was the small sum of profits he received from each fight and the overwhelming implication of freedom that particular benefit carried with it. The variety was refreshing.
His first paycheck had gone to a data pad. The tablet was purchased second-hand from a sketchy street hawker who no doubt pilfered the pad from some unsuspecting scholar or Pits patron. The upper-right-hand corner was chipped, the screen was so dim it was utterly useless in bright sunlight, and it flickered on and off in protest if it was used for hours at a time.
Megatronus loved it. [...]
